TEACHING UPDATED AND RELEVANT FARRIER SCIENCE WITHIN
A TRADITIONAL HORSESHOEING SCHOOL EDUCATION

Facility

Mission Farrier School is located at Faith Equestrian, a 20 acre horse facility in scenic Snohomish, Washington at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.  Views of the Olympic Mountains can be seen to the west and occasionally Mount Rainier makes an appearance to the south.  Area activities include snow skiing, hiking, fishing, biking and horse activities, all as the seasons permit.

Mission Farrier School occupies a 36'x72' farrier shop.  Each student work station is equipped with professional grade anvils and propane forges.  Students are required to have basic hand tools by the beginning of the session. Click here for tool requirements.

Faith Equestrian is a full care boarding facility, 35 Stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas and covered roundpen.

Student Housing

Onsite student housing is available on a first come first serve basis at no additional charge.Students are welcome to come a few days ahead of time and stay a few days after class if desired. If you are considering farrier school you're invited to visit our facility and are encouraged to ask questions. Please feel free to call or email to confirm an appropriate day to visit.

 

Horse Boarding

Give your horse green pastures with sunset views, comfortable stalls with attached runs, daily turnout, and quality feed. Veterinary care and scheduled hoof maintenance is available on site. Low key barn specializing in happy boarders. We are not committed to any specific discipline. It’s just a nice place to be a horse. We also accommodate retirement board and the treatment and rehabilitation of severe lamenesses as it relates to equine podiatry. A comfortable home where your horse’s needs will be well taken care of.


Rehabilitation Board

Available through Mission Farrier School on a case-by-case basis. Specializing in Equine Lameness Prevention, Recovery and Rehabilitation. Meeting the needs of lame horses and sound horses alike. If you have concerns over Laminitis, Navicular, White Line, PIII fractures, Club Feet, Low Heel Syndrome, Long Toes, Stumbling, or other hoof related lameness issues, we are happy to provide our assessment and discuss your options.

From North or South I-405, Take Hwy 522 East towards Monroe/Wenatchee/Woodinville

Follow Hwy 522 East to the end.  It will T into Hwy 2.  At the light,

Turn Right and follow Hwy 2 west, past the Evergreen State Fairgrounds.

Turn Right on Roosevelt, go approx 1.5 miles.

Turn Right on Trombley, go up hill (past the Roosevelt Store), approx 1/2 mile.

Driveway is on the Right.  Our sign says:

Visitor Parking Below Farrier Shop.  Trailer parking below Farrier Shop or behind barn.

From Duvall/Carnation, North on Hwy 203 to Hwy 2.  Turn Left and follow Hwy 2 west, past Fairgrounds, then as above.

From Everett/Snohomish, Go East on Hwy 2, to the 2nd Roosevelt (Arco AM/PM mini mart).  At the Light, Turn Left on Roosevelt, then as above.

If you mapquest our address it will take you past the Horse Entrance to the Fairgrounds and up through Robin Hood.  That is a more difficult turn into our driveway.  Easiest way is up Roosevelt and up Trombley.
